Quetiapine is used to treat the symptoms of psychotic conditions such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder (manic depression). Quetiapine is used for: Treating schizophrenia. It is also used to treat acute manic episodes associated with bipolar disorder (manic-depression). Bipolar Disorder Quetiapine is indicated for the treatment of both: Depressive episodes associated with bipolar disorder acute manic episodes associated with bipolar I disorder as either monotherapy or adjunct therapy to lithium or divalproex.
